| Abstract: | The adoption of XML appears likely to become ubiquitous. Both Messaging and Remote Procedure Call (RPC) seem likely to be conducted in the future, using XML to structure the data content. All the component technologies will become XML aware, with translation from component interfaces to XML being automatic. So, where does this leave component technologies? Will they now be replaced? A report that has not dated, considers how connection architectures will evolve. | ||
