Abstract: Integrating EAI software We introduced many of the issues of application integration in last month’s CBD Journal (August 1998). In that paper, we outlined the techniques involved in integrating disparate design and execution environments including wrapping and the various new classes of products, which as the industry has labelled ‘EAI software’. For many organisations, the integration problem is a complex task because of the many-to-many relationships that need to be implemented between legacy applications, packages and new components.
