Seismic Shifts in the Market IBM’s WebSphere and EJB announcements are primarily concerned with server-side development, similarly Microsoft’s COM+. We see the SINO (Sun, IBM, Netscape, and Oracle) Java vision, and Microsoft DNA as further reflecting a seismic shift in the market, as reflected in Figure 2. Integration was primarily how to connect clients to servers.
