Support for hard-pressed project managers that reflects the reality of CBD and integration. Over the past few months, the CBDi Forum has looked at metrics and evaluation issues as an increasingly important area for attention. Following a Special Interest Group (SIG) meeting in May 1999, we ran a ‘Project Management Track’ at the London CBDi Forum meeting, in June 1999, that was extremely well attended. The issue is clear, that project and development managers always have a major issue with establishing realistic cost estimates and project plans, and that CBDi further complicates and moves the goal posts.
