CBDi Forum Journal - July 1999 Product Overview – Viewlocity AMTrix Message Brokers are not a new concept, and products in this area have steadily matured over the past decade to provide robust solutions. However, the increasing focus on the need to integrate disparate applications in near ‘real-time’ and across organisational boundaries, means that this is a product category who’s "time has come". This product overview looks at the role of message brokers in application integration and, in particular, at the AMTrix product from Viewlocity.
