| Abstract: | The EJB vs. COM argument still rages, and the technical merits of each of the object standards are espoused with equal conviction from both camps. It often boils down to the relative merits of a single-vendor language-independent solution as opposed to a vendor-independent, single-language approach. That both systems can be made to work is never disputed, however when the code has been cut, tested and is ready to be rolled-out, it is the operating system and the hardware it runs on that might make or break the system. In this article we have tried to look at NT as an application server platform and attempted to examine some of the widely-held and contraversial views. | ||
