| Abstract: | INTERACT - CBDi Forum Journal - February 2000 Acquiring E-Business Components and Frameworks by David Sprott david.sprott@cbdiforum.com As the market for components starts to take off we report on where you can acquire components and frameworks, and comment on the options. We start this process by looking at the market for E-Business components. At the Amsterdam Forum meeting in January, we heard a compelling case for component-based frameworks from Ron Tolido of Cap Gemini. But in the Q & A it was clear that whilst there is general acceptance of the concept, there is little understanding of what frameworks are generally available or in widespread usage and where you can acquire them.
