| Abstract: | It will be obvious to most of us that IT offshoring is happening at a rapid rate. Everywhere I go I hear that great swathes of application and infrastructure have been handed over to third parties somewhere on the Asian sub-continent. Senior management having read the business management book The World is Flat and, under pressure to reduce costs, see globalization deal making as the new wave business trend. It's an easy way to reduce costs and transfer often intractable problems to a third party, and in the process make themselves a hero. | ||
