| Abstract: | As enterprises adopt SOA concepts they come to recognize that they need a higher level of formality in their processes. The core rationale underlying SOA is to enable easier response to change and inherent in this is a high level of governance over the integrity of the architecture in implemented applications and processes. Also SOA creates separation of concerns – providing and consuming units of capability according to a formal contract. These core concepts create the requirement for a high level of repeatable approach in the provision, use and management of services and all related design and delivery artifacts. | ||
