Author: John Dodd
Publication Date: 3 November 2006
Report Type: Journal
Report Class: Best Practice
Abstract: The meta model is presented in the form of several UML class diagrams. Each diagram depicts a number of Service Architecture and Engineering concepts, and shows how these concepts are related. The main attributes of each concept are given. Each of these diagrams provides one particular view of the overall unified meta model.
Backgrounder: This model was designed from the perspective of a single enterprise or institution, which intends to build service-centric software solutions. We assume that the enterprise may build software services for its own use and/or for the use of other legal entities, and may consume services offered by other legal entities
