| Title: | Defining the Business Service Server | ||
| Author: | Jonathan Stephenson | ||
| Publication Date: | 19 December 2001 | ||
| Report Type: | |||
| Abstract: | This report explores the issues to be addressed when implementing web services on an enterprise scale. As it is clear that Web Services will be adopted by all the major players in the industry, perhaps now is a good time to think about the management issues of delivering and using Web Services before they become management problems. We will create a role for a 'Business Service Server' as a logical centralized engine for the management of Web Services and start to define its major functionality blocks. | ||
