| Abstract: | CA's data modelling tool ERwin is mounting a comeback. The recent release of version 4.0 – the first significant update since August 1998 – represents a welcome gesture of CA’s renewed commitment towards this product, as well as some valuable new functionality. ERwin is a solid product in the data management space, and provides useful support for the data aspects of component-based development. In future, it has the potential to work more closely with other CA products, as a key component of the Jasmine portfolio. | ||
