| Abstract: | When Sun Microsystems acquired Forte last year it was obvious that they were acquiring the enterprise level application development tools capability that they badly needed to complement a growing, vertically integrated portfolio. What was less clear was their application integration strategy, and how they would ever catch up with Microsoft who have aggressively embraced XML as their backbone for enterprise domination. The launch of Forte Fusion R2 provides many answers about the Sun integration strategy and signals a strong, cross platform alternative to the BizTalk server architecture. | ||
