Abstract: ObjectVenture is a start-up company with significant ambitions. It is by no means the first company to tackle the challenge of software reuse, but it is pioneering an important step forward, which evolves simple EJB development tools into pattern management tools. ObjectVenture has also developed a Pattern and Component Markup Language (PCML), which it is putting forward as a proposed industry standard for exchanging patterns.
