Title: The Renaissance of Data Modeling
Author: Richard Veryard
Publication Date: 27 June 2001
Report Type:
Abstract: As someone with a long history of data modeling, I've recently been interested to note a number of renewed signs of activity in this field. A wide range of initiatives by vendors and industry consortia, a lot of talk at industry gatherings (including OT2001) - and after some years during which people were only interested in object and component modeling, I've started to receive requests again for training and consultancy in data modeling.
