Richard Veryard – Principal Consultant

Richard is a business technology evangelist, focusing on the use of SOA for business innovation and transformation. Richard has been researching the service-based business and service economy since the early 1990s, and has lectured at business schools and universities in several countries. He has written several books on business and IT, and is a prolific blogger. Richard has developed CBDI Forum's approach for business modeling and business requirements for SOA, and mentors commercial and public-sector organizations on realizing the business opportunities from SOA.

John Dodd – Principal Consultant

John is a recognized expert in the development of methodology and education in software engineering techniques which have been adopted by organizations worldwide. He participated in the early definition of Information Engineering, and developed its object-oriented variant. John was also a pioneer of component-based development, for which he produced standards, guide books and teaching materials. As part of his role in development of SOA methodology, John specializes in best practices in Service Identification and Specification, and has led development of CBDI Forum’s Service Portfolio Planning approach. John helps major corporations to apply these techniques though workshops and as a consultant.

 
Paul Allen

Paul Allen is a principal consultant, educator and analyst with Everware-CBDI International. He is widely recognized for innovative work in component based development, and service-oriented architecture. Paul is a widely published author whose most recent book - Service Orientation: Winning Strategies and Best Practices – was published in April 2006.

 
Dan Ellis

Since 1996 Mr. Ellis has been driving enterprise adoption of component-based architectures. As an EA practitioner, Mr. Ellis leverages Everware-CBDI’s SAETM methodology to drive enterprise-wide consolidation, organizational agility, and improved service to citizens. Mr. Ellis currently coordinates development of “A Practical Guide to Federal SOA” on behalf of IAC and in support of the Federal CIO Council.

 
Don Pooley

27 years of IT experience with specialization in Enterprise Architecture and technology adoption planning. Current areas of focus include SOA Adoption Planning (Roadmap) and the application of SOA best practices to Legacy Modernization.
