Data Management for SOAHow Data Management Supports SOAService Oriented Architecture (SOA) represents an increasingly popular architectural approach for building, deploying and managing business solutions. Everware-CBDI has been in the forefront of SOA thinking for many years, and is one of the leading sources of independent guidance and support on SOA and related topics. At Everware-CBDI, we take a strongly data-oriented line on SOA. We think there’s a great opportunity and challenge for data management professionals to play a leading role in the development and implementation of service oriented architecture and the service-based business. PodcastsPresenter: Richard Veryard is an expert in business modeling for SOA, with a strong background in data modeling and management. His first book on data modeling was published in 1984, and his most recent book on the plug-and-play business was published in 2001. He has been a principal consultant at James Martin Associates and a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Texas Instruments Software, and is now a principal analyst and SOA specialist with Everware-CBDI. In this series of four podcasts, Richard talks about Service-Oriented Architecture and its relevance for data management.
