As it is clear that Web Services will be adopted by all the major players in the industry, perhaps now is a good time to think about the management issues of delivering and using Web Services before they become management problems. We consider the role of a 'Business Services Server' as an approach to Web Services Management and define its major functionality blocks. We also look at some of the products and technologies available to see if they measure up to our requirements.
